A shot through the window of our bus as it moved us towards the city of Cajamarca. The scene seemed so distant as we wound our way around mountain passes and dodged farmers and their livestock.
About Ben Shields
For the past several years, Ben has made his home in the Piedmont of North Carolina. Most of his photographs are shot throughout North Carolina, from the mountains to the coast, but are supplemented with images he has captured in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, Peru, and locations in the southeastern United States. Ben also has a collection of photographs from small town and rural portions of Kansas, where he was born and spent his childhood.
